What am I up to now???

On to the next thing then... finished my Lord's Favour, It's only taken me 5 years to get around to doing it... I did start it in May, when I ran a class on splitstitch for May Day and used the Ildhafn patch as a demo. I didn't actually finishe it until after I did the flag.
The favour is 5 slips stitched on to a stirp of fabric left over from our wedding garb. The first slip is the Ildhafn Lymphand, for the Baronial Militia and the Barony, #2 is a red rose - which represents me, #3 the Melita Cross of St John's - which represents the groups which or Canton (Cluain) came from - our roots and far prettier than the Cluain Bull... #4 not very period but the blue bear is the toy our son has to have with him every night and when he is feeling fragile - so Blue Bear represents William, #5 The St George cross - the company of St George. These are the things which inspire and motivate my Lord in tourney's. I am going to present him with it at St Catherines before he fights.
